first WIP animation!

to kick off the WIP pixel blog, I don't have many WIP's to show off.
HOWEVER; I do have a little animation I created just for fun of the progress of my latest pixel dolls.

The doll is doubling as many things, but she is based on the lovely Sherri Dupree-Bemis who is 1) gorgeous and 2) sooo stylish. I chose her for the Style race at TLC community which is proving to be fun. Here she is steampunkish. The palette is 100% by my friend Maudee. It was a lot of fun pushing myself to use a palette type that I don't normally use. The base is also out of my comfort zone, by Strawberry-Bamboo. But overall it was a really nice exercise and I'm pleased with the result! Now onto the progess animation... The line art was horribly rough to begin with, but I think it ended up acceptable. I have some base and pixel WIPs I can probably post next time. :)

I think I'll try the doll WIP blog trend! Going to try the AV challenge to make a doll a day in May... let's see how this goes.
